Q4 Release Notes: OCR, Keyword Search, and Spreadsheet Annotations

AUTHOR: The AgileLaw team

Feature: Search Exhibits by Keywords

For premium subscriptions, all future uploaded documents will be text searchable (if they do not already have text then they will be OCR'ed). Users and participants can search for documents using keywords and phrases in their search queries.

If you would like this on existing cases, please reach out as this will require manual work on our end.

Feature: Annotations for Spreadsheets

Requested by a few customers, you can now add highlight annotations to spreadsheets. This can be useful when wanting to jump to a specific row, column, and/or worksheet during your deposition (by clicking on the annotation in the list on the left). The highlights can also be used as callout annotations while in presentation mode.

Security: SOC2 Type I and Type II

While we have taken security seriously since the inception of the company, we recently decided to solidify that position through a third-party audit. Therefore, as of October 4, 2024, we have officially been awarded a SOC 2 Type I and Type II certification from Accorp Partners CPA LLC. If you would like more information on the security controls we have in place, please reach out to us.
